Temperature Conversion Guide
Temperature conversion uses a formula because the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales start from different reference points. Multiplying alone is not enough.
Celsius to Fahrenheit
Use F = C x 9/5 + 32. This is useful for weather, ovens, and travel planning.
Fahrenheit to Celsius
Use C = (F - 32) x 5/9. This is common when interpreting US recipes or weather forecasts.
Precision
Rounded weather values are fine, but food safety, medical, and laboratory temperatures require the specified precision.
